I run a series of on-line sessions over Zoom for beginner Hammered and Mountain dulcimer players. If you’re interested in joining any of the groups then please contact me at shirley@shirleywarbrickmusic.co.uk.
We started the Mountain Dulcimer Beginner Sessions with a group of complete beginners, but they aren't complete beginners any more. These session are for them, and for you if you have been playing for a while but find it difficult to keep up with the speed of other sessions. Sessions are recorded and the recordings made available to those who attended the session or are on the mailing list.

The recordings of the first year or so of beginner sessions, which run for about an hour and include a mixture of technique and tunes played slowly are available to anyone on the mailing list. I also run some Beginner Start-Up Sessions for new players to get you started.

I also look after a series of Hammered Dulcimer seasons that are presented by my friend Pete Bromwich. As with the Mountaoin sessons, these are recorded and the recordings made available to those who attended the session or are on the mailing list.
